Job Description
Job Summary:
- Hold a J.D. from an accredited law school
- Maintain active license to practice law in Idaho or be eligible for prompt waiver
- Bring at least 2 years of legal experience (criminal defense preferred)
- Demonstrate strong litigation skills and a confident courtroom presence
- Exhibit excellent communication, organizational, and legal writing abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Clio or similar case management systems
- Capable of managing multiple priorities under pressure and moving cases forward independently
- (Preferred) Experience in both misdemeanor and felony criminal defense
- (Preferred) Background in legal motion practice or appellate writing
- (Preferred) Spanish-speaking or bilingual ability
- (Preferred) Familiarity with eastern and southern Idaho court systems
- Able to meet the physical demands and work environment requirements necessary to perform the job's essential functions
