Civil Engineering Director

About the Role

We are a multidisciplinary firm offering a comprehensive range of architectural and engineering services. We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineering Director with a PE license to lead the planning, design, and execution of civil land development projects. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership role while collaborating with a talented team to deliver diverse projects. You’ll play a key part in mentoring engineers, overseeing project quality, and maintaining strong client relationships.

A sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and engineering of land development projects across various sectors.
• Guide project teams through the entire project lifecycle.
• Ensure all projects meet budgets, schedules, and quality standards.
• Mentor and supervise Engineers-in-Training (EITs).
• Oversee the preparation of construction documents.
• Provide technical support during construction administration.
• Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Experience: 8+ years of relevant experience in civil land development.
• Skills: Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit), strong leadership and communication skills.
