Job Position: Infusion Nurse

Location: Hazelwood, MO

Duration: 3 months with possibility of conversion/extension

Shift: M- F 8a- 4:30p

Education:

• Associates Degree in Diagnostic Medical Technology. 
  OR 
  High School/G.E.D. AND successful completion of an accredited Ultrasound/Sonography technical training program.

Skills::

• Must have IV experience - position entails starting 20-30 IVs/weekly.
• This is a slower clinic - but MAY float to West County or South County clinics.
• If floating is required - it will be scheduled ahead of time.
• ASAP start.

Certifications and RN License:

• AHA BLS, RN License

Responsibilities:

• Provides direct outpatient care to patients undergoing IV infusions.
• Monitors patients closely for adverse effects.
• Provides accurate and complete patient documentation in a timely manner.
• Demonstrates safe work habits and is knowledgeable of all related requirements and practices relative to his/her job assignment.
• Observes professional service commitments; participates in quality management initiatives as assigned.
• Has excellent communication skills and is detail oriented.
