Hourly Pay: $40–$42/hr
Weekly Pay: $1,440–$1,512/week
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking OB Scrub Tech - CWR for an exciting Travel or Local job in Neptune, NJ.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in obstetric and gynecologic surgical procedures, including C-sections, hysterectomies, D&Cs, and cervical repairs.
Maintain strict sterile technique and prepare surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment.
Accurately perform sponge, instrument, and needle counts with nursing staff.
Order, stock, and organize supplies in the OR, PACU, and labor rooms, ensuring all equipment is clean and ready for use.
Support nursing staff in providing direct and indirect patient care during antepartum and postpartum periods.
Communicate effectively with RNs regarding patient status and procedural needs.
Assist with patient and family requests, ensuring timely response and compassionate communication.
Maintain equipment readiness, troubleshoot minor issues, and report equipment malfunctions.
Demonstrate calm, effective teamwork during emergency or crisis situations.
Adhere to NJ Department of Health, JCAHO, and hospital policies, ensuring compliance with ethical and safety standards.
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
Experience: Minimum 1 year of OB Tech or Surgical Tech experience in an acute care setting (required); 3 years preferred.
Licensure/Certification:
Certified OB Technician (required)
AHA BLS Certification (required)
Skills: Strong knowledge of obstetric procedures, sterile field management, equipment handling, and teamwork in a high-acuity environment.
