Job: Plumbing Mechanic

Plumbing and heating company seeking a plumbing service mechanic.

Skilled Job Functions:

· Installation, maintenance, modification and repairs of plumbing and heating systems and equipment

· Customer service with household residents, property managers and building owner representatives

· Relays questions to supervisors

· Follows safety procedures and guidelines

· Performs other duties as assigned

Skills Required:

1. Knowledge and experience related to plumbing and heating work

2. Self-motivated

3. Ability to effectively communicate verbally, politely and respectfully with clients and co-workers

4. Able to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to manipulate objects or controls, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl talk and hear

5. Vision abilities (with correction) including close, distance, peripheral, depth and the ability to adjust focus

6. Able to work in all weather conditions

7. The employee will frequently be required to walk, stand, sit, bend, climb, reach and use hands

8. The employee will regularly be required to crawl, kneel and lift and/or move objects in excess of 80 lbs.

Other Requirements:

1. Able to work shift from 10 am to 6 pm

2. Valid NYS Driver’s License

3. Must be 18 years of age or older

4. Punctuality and reliability

Preferred Qualifications:

· Bilingual Spanish preferred

Pay & Other:

• Pay is commensurate with Experience and Work Performed, but not less than $26/Hour
• In addition to hourly rate, eligible for performance-based enhanced compensation paid out on a quarterly basis, subject to working independently, safely and achieving customer satisfaction and targeted performance levels
• Paid time off, holidays and health benefits available subject to terms of employment

Work Authorization:

• United States work authorization required
