Description Our client in McLean, Virginia is seeking a full-time Seasonal Tax Support Associate to join their team during the upcoming busy season. This role is well-suited for someone with prior experience preparing individual and business returns who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. The position focuses on tax data entry, document organization, and providing support to licensed tax professionals to ensure timely and accurate processing of returns. Key Responsibilities: - Assist with preparing basic individual and business tax returns under supervision - Enter tax data and supporting information into internal systems - Review W-2s, 1099s, and other tax documents for completeness and accuracy - Help maintain organized client files and workpapers - Support senior tax staff with simple schedules and reconciliations - Assist with department deadlines, extensions, and general administrative tasks Requirements The Right Fit May Have: - Prior experience preparing individual or business tax returns (1040, 1120, 1065, etc.) - Exposure to CPA firms, tax offices, or similar tax-preparation environments - Familiarity with tax software and strong Microsoft Excel skills - High attention to detail and accuracy when entering financial data - Excellent organizational habits and consistent follow-through - Comfort handling confidential client information - A reliable, steady work style suited for deadline-driven busy season workloads Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
